Thank you, Houston! Thanks to you we’re continuing our expansion in this dynamic city and will open our third restaurant May 3 2018 at 1000 Main in the downtown tunnels (Main & McKinney).
Like our other locations, we’ll prove that even salad-hating people will change their mind after trying our top-selling Grilled Avocado Salad. This is our best-selling salad and is a must for your foodie bucket list. Red leaf, iceberg, black bean/poblano/corn relish, grilled avocado and thick-sliced tomato (served warm), queso fresco, our housemade Chipotle-Lime Vinaigrette with fresh-squeezed lime, and Mexican crema.
For those who don’t know, we’ve received all sorts of awards. We’ve upended the typical protein-to-vegetables ratio to create hearty and delicious meals. Lettuce is fresh cut, dressings are made in-house, and additions like wild-caught Sockeye salmon are sautéed to order and served hot.
We’ve been in the Houston market for just under a year but have already gained a loyal following who we affectionately call “Snapsters.” We’re looking forward to converting more Houstonians into Snapsters with our satisfying and craveable salads.
Our 62-seat downtown location will continue our mission to leave this world healthier than the way we found it. The tables are made from reclaimed wood, lighting is energy-efficient, takeout containers and utensils are biodegradable, cups are made from corn, and straws are made from paper. We’re proud to serve food products that are aligned with our mission like non-GMO oil, ferrous gluconate-free black beans, and olives, EDTA-free mayonnaise, sustainably raised tomatoes, and organic fair trade iced tea.
